Good Afternoon PS 770 families--
We did it! We raised the $10,187 and it keeps going up. You have until May 25th to donate and help your grade win a pizza party. The dress down pass will be for all students. Dress down day will be Friday, May 25th.
Tomorrow evening, May 23rd, is "Looking forward to next year." Come and learn all about the expectations and standards for the grade your child is entering next year. It will take place in your child's current classroom.
6:30-7:00 Q & A as a group
7:00-7:30 Individual Q & A with teachers
5th grade parents should come to learn about middle school and what you can do to prepare over the summer.

The RUSH HEARTS Gallery is being built and we can use some help tomorrow at around 10:00 AM. If you are available to help put the walls together (they look like office cubicles), it would be greatly appreciated.
Our HEARTS Gallery opening will be after curriculum celebration on June 14th. Curriculum celebration will be from 10:00-11:00 and then the gallery opening from 11:00-12:30 PM.
Please remember that students are to wear their house t-shirts on field trips. The uniform window for next year will open shortly, so you are encouraged to purchase a house t shirt in addition to polo shirts.
As the weather gets warmer, please remember that students are not allowed to wear sandals or flip flops.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
If you are sending someone to pick up your child who is not on the blue card, you must provide us with written permission by letter or email to Ms. Miller. Otherwise, we will not allow your child to leave with this person.
Thank you to the families who returned their "intent to return"form. If you have not done so, please do so ASAP. It helps us anticipate spots for incoming families and implications for hiring.
Have a great day!
According to Chancellor's Regulations, Children benefit from vigorous exercise and should be given the opportunity to play outside whenever possible. Unless it is snowing, or there is ice on the playground, or the wind-chill factor is below zero degrees Fahrenheit (-18 degrees Celsius), temperature alone should not preclude outdoor play. Please ensure that your child comes dressed appropriately with hats and gloves. ONLY students will approved doctor notes will not go out. I will look at the temperature around 12:00 PM to make the decision each day.
